Cleveland Record Label Taps Utah Singer for New Olympic Theme
Cleveland independent record label Esquire Records has tapped Rima Clark of Draper, Utah to sing a new a proposed Olympic theme entitled The Best of You. The song is a collaboration between Cleveland lawyer/lyricist Hal Pollock and Ukrainian Virtuoso pianist Evgeny Khmara.

Clark was picked by Pollock to record for Esquire after listening to hundreds of female singers online during 2020. She was then working on her first solo album in Nashville. That album will be released shortly.

Pollock and Clark collaborated on a new version of the song I Wish You Love with counter-lyrics by Pollock. The medley is called I Wish You Love/It’s Only Love. Esquire is currently seeking permission from the rights holders to the original I Wish You Love to release the song.

In January, 2022 Pollock discovered Khmara after an extensive review of potential European artists with whom to collaborate. Khmara, a resident of Kyiv, has five piano instrumental albums and is finishing a sixth. He is well known in Europe where he has played to large European audiences. Khmara has also played in China and at the White House.

After connecting with Khmara, Pollock developed lyrics to many of Khmara’s most loved compositions. Those songs are now being recorded including The Best of You. Clark has been signed to the Esquire label to record numerous Pollock-Khmara songs. The Best of You will premiere in August 2022 on Youtube, Tiktok and Esquire’s website at https://www.esquirerecords.net and Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/EsquireRecords/

It will also be available on Apple Music and Spotify the same day.

Esquire is nearing release of a 500 page digital online songbook entitled Set the World to Music, a compilation of Pollock lyrics and songs created by Pollock and collaborators. The book will be published later this year and feature at least ten Pollock-Khmara songs including The Best of You.
