Cleveland Record Label Taps Utah Singer for New Olympic Theme

Cleveland independent record label Esquire Records has tapped Rima Clark of Salt Lake City, Utah to sing a proposed new Olympic theme entitled The Best of You. The song is a collaboration between Cleveland lawyer/lyricist Hal Pollock and Ukrainian Virtuoso pianist Evgeny Khmara. A inspirational video has been developed for The Best of You which focuses on achieving your dreams.

Rima was picked by Pollock to record Esquire songs after listening to hundreds of female singers online. Clark is now finishing her first solo album in Nashville.

In January, 2022 Pollock discovered Khmara after an extensive study of European artists with whom to collaborate. Khmara, a resident of Kyiv, has five piano instrumental albums and is finishing a sixth. He is well known in Europe where he has played to large European audiences. Khmara has also played in China and at the White House.

After connecting with Khmara, Pollock developed lyrics to many of Khmara’s most loved compositions. Those songs are now being recorded including The Best of You. Rima is the first person to record Pollock-Khmara songs. This includes not only The Best of You but a beautiful ballad called She that also has a moving video.

The Best of You and She have just premiered on Esquire’s website at https://www.esquirerecords.net and on Youtube at https://www.youtube.com/@esquirerecords. They will also be available on Apple Music, Spotify and other platforms.

Pollock and Clark have also collaborated on a new version of the song I Wish You Love with counter-lyrics by Pollock. The medley is called I Wish You Love/It’s Only Love.
